New Surgery Spotlight highlights Abdominoplasty with Progressive Tension Sutures

The August Surgery Spotlight is now live on PSEN.  Watch Todd Pollock, MD demonstrate a drain-free abdominoplasty with the use of progressive tension sutures.

Along with his father, Dr. Harlan Pollock, Dr. Todd Pollock originated and published the abdominoplasty with progressive tension sutures technique. They believe the technique “improves the quality of a no-drain abdominoplasty, while making it safer and easier for their patients.” Drs. Todd and Harlan Pollock have presented and taught many courses about the technique at various plastic surgery meetings.

Dr. Todd Pollock serves as an instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and is the former Chief of Surgery at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen. He practices privately in North Dallas and has affiliations at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Allen.

The Surgery Spotlight programs from July and August, Nipple-Sparing Mastectomy and Abdominoplasty with Progressive Tension Sutures, will be featured as part of the clinical program at the Breast Surgery and Body Contouring Symposium in Santa Fe, New Mexico  on August 22-25, 2012.
