First Surgery Spotlight of 2013: Midface Rejuvenation

PSEN’s first Surgery Spotlight of the new year is Midface Rejuvenation performed by Julius W. Few, MD. The midface rejuvenation includes a lower blepharoplasty to dissect the redundant skin, a tear trough correction to eliminate the tired and aged appearance of the face, and lateral cathoplasties because there is more than six to eight millimeters lower lid distraction. The video can be streamed for free once you are logged in to PSEN, or can be purchased as part of an online course to earn CME credit.

Dr. Few is the Founder and Chief Medical Director at The Few Institute for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, located in Chicago, IL.  Additionally, he serves as a Clinical Associate Professor for the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Chicago. Dr. Few specializes in providing aesthetic plastic surgery, while preserving the unique ethnic features of his patients’ face, breast, body, and skin. PSEN previously featured Dr. Few performing Blepharoplasty with Fat Injection as the October 2011 Surgery Spotlight.
