Last Surgery Spotlight of 2013 now available on PSEN

THE DECEMBER SURGERY SPOTLIGHT features Dr. Rod Rohrich performing a Secondary Facial Rejuvenation procedure on a 62-year-old Caucasian woman. The patient presents with significant loss of fat in her face, a tight skin envelope, and some laxity in her neck. Dr. Rohrich’s technique involves a lift-and-fill approach to correct facelift deformities:removing and relocating existing scars; releasing the malpositioned deep layers; refilling the depressed temporal areas and the deep malar fat compartments with harvested fat; and re-draping and re-shaping the deep layers and reshaping the final skin layers. Watch the full-length surgery on PSEN now.

Dr. Rohrich is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is a past president of ASPS and former director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Rohrich currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as an editor for Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery. In the past ten years, he has been recognized many times as a top doctor in America and Dallas. Dr. Rohrich has a clinical practice at Zale Lipshy University Hospital/UT Southwestern Medical Center and the Tom Landry Sports Center/Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
